ALKIES LAPAS D.O.

An honorary graduate of Rutgers University, Dr. Lapas received his doctorate of medicine from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his radiology residency at Cooper University Hospital, Cooper Medical School of Rowan University’s teaching hospital in Camden, New Jersey. Following residency, Dr. Lapas matriculated at Yale University, Yale School of Medicine, where he pursued a subspecialty fellowship in Neuroradiology receiving expertise training in brain and spine, as well as head & neck imaging. While at Yale, Dr. Lapas was appointed and served as Chief Fellow of the Department of Radiology, Division of Neuroradiology and was subsequently recruited by Yale-New Haven Hospital as an attending radiologist in the departments of Neuroradiology and Emergency Medicine. Dr. Lapas has since returned to his roots and committed himself to giving back to the regional communities and making a difference in the healthcare of local New Jersey residents. In 2013, he was appointed Adjunct Clinical Instructor of Neuroradiology by Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine, and actively participates in the training of medical students and diagnostic radiology residents.
